This resource provides students an opportunity to read a scientific article about the non-CO2 side effects of aviation.
Students can explore the other peer-reviewed studies and articles that are linked at the end of the article.

It might be helpful to go through the terms in the Appendix first so that students are familiar with the vocabulary in the article.
Differentiation
Advanced or above-level students could evaluate the conclusions and/or write responses to the article.
Students could discuss the various ways noise pollution has affected them at home or school and discuss the benefits and drawbacks of limiting air travel.
