This exhibition explores what our future world might look like.
The designs are interesting, unique, and innovative.
Additional Prerequisites
Scroll down to the bottom of the page to explore the four galleries called Circular, Portable, Visionary, and Resilient.
Students can also click "Take a 3D Tour by MCD" to view the gallery on the Museum of Craft and Design website.
Differentiation
Art students can choose one of the four galleries to analyze. Students can write essays or have discussions about the pieces in their gallery.
Social studies students can pick one design and argue for its deployment in society based on how well it will help us adapt to climate change.
Engineering and design students can use these designs as inspiration to create their own architectural structures that can withstand the effects of climate change.
The most vulnerable communities are often those most impacted by climate change. Teachers can discuss this issue of justice and how it is addressed in this exhibition.
