What You'll Learn

In this free retreat, anybody connected to or interested in climate education can join workshops and hear speakers from local museums, school districts, State Parks, the Cumming Nature Center, and more. This can include teachers, scout leaders, informal educators, librarians, etc. Attend this retreat to gain new information, connect with local organizations/educators, learn about teaching climate change, obtain resources for educating, and more!

Topics include Indigenous and Environmental Connection, Teaching Stream Studies: Where Water and Climate Collide, Community Science, Guided Hike: Beaver Ecology, and a Birding Activity.
