Melissa Luetje has been a high school science teacher for 21 years. She is a tireless advocate for Pre-K to 12 climate change education for all Maine public school students. Melissa has also developed curriculum for The Climate Initiative. Her work with students focuses on place-based, authentic experiential learning opportunities with community partners in order to elevate youth voices, and to create agency and hope.
